Description:
Born in 1751, Madison was brought up in Orange Co., Va., and attended Princeton. He served in the Continental Congress and in the Virginia Assembly. Madison was the principal author of the Constitution and is often referred to as the "Father of the Constitution." He served as Pres. Jefferson's Sec. of State and was the 4th elected President in 1808 and 1812. |
